What is in Delta Reign?

Over 135 cards, led by Mega Rayquaza ex, per The Pokémon Company. Mega Rayquaza is back in the TCG for the first time since the XY—Ancient Origins expansion. The official count of notable cards:

  • Four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex: Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex
  • Six other Pokémon ex
  • Six Stadium cards that form three Legendary Stadiums
  • 14 illustration rare Pokémon, 17 ultra rare Pokémon and Trainer cards, and six special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards

Legendary Stadiums are the new mechanic. Two Stadium cards are played as a pair, and their artwork joins into one wider illustration. Pokémon says any booster pack that contains a Legendary Stadium contains both halves.

The PokéCottage community list counts 140 cards: 103 in the main set and 37 secret rares (14 illustration rares, 16 ultra rares, 6 special illustration rares and 1 Mega Hyper Rare). That fits the official counts if the Mega Hyper Rare is one of the 17 ultra rares. Treat 140 as a community count until the full list is official.

How much is a Delta Reign booster box?

$240.21 on TCGplayer's presale as of October 24, 2026, and falling. Presale opened on August 20, the day the set was announced. The cheapest of 32 listings asked $235.59 on the morning of October 24.

The early column is each product's first presale sales window with real volume, dated by its start; the last window, October 22 to 24, is still open.

Every Delta Reign product in the table has fallen in presale, and the box has held up best. The Elite Trainer Box and the Booster Bundle each lost about 40% and loose packs 35%, while the booster box lost 15%. The booster box is also the cheapest way to buy packs at $6.67 each, against $10.29 in a Booster Bundle and $11.80 in a standard ETB, which also carries the Kyogre promo and accessories.

These are single-venue presale prices: TCGplayer's own market price and sales history. Cardlogs has no Delta Reign set row yet, so the set is not on a Cardlogs page; that gap is ours, and it closes when our catalogue picks the set up.

What happened to the last two Mega Evolution boxes?

Both lost about a third from this point in their presale, and most of that by release week. According to Cardlogs' read of TCGplayer's weekly sales, the Pitch Black and Chaos Rising booster boxes each traded about $273 two weeks before release and about $180 to $183 in mid-October.

Booster box (TCGplayer) Two weeks before release Release week Mid-October 2026 Two weeks out → now
Pitch Black (released July 17, 2026) $273.88 $212.42 (−22.4%) $183.00 −33.2%
Chaos Rising (released May 22, 2026) $272.73 $236.65 (−13.2%) $180.29 −33.9%

The Elite Trainer Boxes did the same: Pitch Black's went from $107.67 two weeks out to $69.86, and Chaos Rising's from $103.97 to $67.03, both about 35% lower. Delta Reign's ETB, at $106.20, sits where those two sat at this point.

Both boxes now price about where Cardmarket does, which makes today's level a settled market rather than one venue's reading. As of October 23, 2026, Cardlogs prices the Pitch Black box at $183.83 on TCGplayer against €179.54 ($200.96) on Cardmarket, and Chaos Rising at $179.45 against €183.09 ($204.93), at the ECB rate of €0.89342 per dollar.

Our call: the Delta Reign booster box trades below $220 on TCGplayer in its release week. Applied to today's $238.44, Chaos Rising's release-week drop would put it near $207 and Pitch Black's near $185. We will grade this in the street-date edition.

Is Delta Reign expensive compared with other Mega Evolution sets?

Its presale box sits above every recent main set but below the first two. Box prices from the Cardlogs nightly of October 23, 2026, two venues each:

Set Released TCGplayer box Cardmarket box (in USD)
Phantasmal Flames November 14, 2025 $394.41 $329.77
Mega Evolution September 26, 2025 $303.50 $251.49
Delta Reign (presale) November 6, 2026 $240.21 —
Pitch Black July 17, 2026 $183.83 $200.96
Chaos Rising May 22, 2026 $179.45 $204.93
Perfect Order March 27, 2026 $172.55 $194.72

The two sets above Delta Reign are a year old. Every main set released in 2026 now trades between $172 and $184 on TCGplayer. Pitch Black and Chaos Rising carry their full card lists with prices on Cardlogs.

What are the Delta Reign chase cards worth in Japan?

Mega Rayquaza ex is the chase, and in Japan it has fallen hard since release. Cardlogs tracks all 116 cards of Storm Emeralda, the Japanese set Delta Reign is mostly drawn from. These are TCGplayer's market prices for the Japanese printings, a single venue, so read them as a reference for demand, not a forecast for English prices:

Japanese card (Storm Emeralda) Rarity Sep 1, 2026 Oct 1 Oct 23 Since Sep 1
Mega Rayquaza ex 113/076 Mega Ultra Rare $1,299.99 $945.56 $747.33 −42.5%
Mega Rayquaza ex 110/076 Special Art Rare $567.10 $337.02 $281.92 −50.3%
Raikou ex 108/076 Special Art Rare $79.01 $57.35 $43.56 −44.9%
Mega Rayquaza ex 095/076 Super Rare $44.85 $35.78 $27.69 −38.3%
Zinnia's Trust 112/076 Special Art Rare $40.36 $26.56 $21.36 −47.1%

According to Cardlogs market data, the Japanese Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Ultra Rare fell from $2,222 at its first Cardlogs reading on August 1 to $747.33 on October 23, 2026, and it was still falling in October: −21.0% since October 1. Every card in the table is lower than a month ago. The Special Art Rare's first reading was $928.99 on July 30.

The Japanese Mega Rayquaza ex is already heavily graded. According to Cardlogs' population data, the Special Art Rare has 2,375 PSA-graded copies less than three months after release, 2,275 of them PSA 10s (95.8%). The Mega Ultra Rare has 913, of which 557 are PSA 10s (61.0%).

A Japanese Storm Emeralda box is a different product, and Cardlogs prices it at $93.34 on TCGplayer and €72.38 ($81.01) on Cardmarket as of October 23.

What we do not know yet

  • The full English card list. 48 of about 140 set cards are revealed, and the third Legendary Stadium has not been shown in English.
  • English single-card prices. No Delta Reign single has a market yet; we will rank the chase cards once two venues price them.
  • Whether the English Mega Rayquaza ex prints follow the Japanese ones down. The English set is bigger and opens at a different price, so the Japanese slide is context, not a prediction.

The next edition is due on the November 6 street date, with the first English single prices and a grade of our release-week call.

Where this data comes from

Cardlogs aggregates Pokémon prices nightly from TCGplayer, Cardmarket and eBay sold listings (via PriceCharting) across more than 64,000 tracked Pokémon card and printing rows, plus PSA and BGS population data. Delta Reign's presale prices in this guide come from TCGplayer directly, not from our nightly: each product's market price and cheapest listing read on the morning of October 24, 2026, and its sales history in three-day windows (weekly for the Pitch Black and Chaos Rising comparison), which TCGplayer can revise afterwards. Set facts come from The Pokémon Company International's announcement, expansion page and product showcase. The revealed card list and the 140-card count come from the PokéCottage community list. Storm Emeralda prices are TCGplayer market prices for the Japanese printings from the Cardlogs nightly of October 23, 2026; population counts are PSA's, via Cardlogs. Cardmarket prices are converted at the October 23 ECB rate of €0.89342 per dollar.
