Riftbound Market Watch — October 2026: US Prices Cooled, Europe Kept Climbing, and the $6,000 Signature Asks Came Down

Riftbound market watch, October 2026: US and eBay indexes −4%, Cardmarket +5.1% on the same cards, Signature asks repriced, and a new top 5 backed by real sales.

Riftbound, the League of Legends TCG by Riot Games, split along the Atlantic in September 2026. According to Cardlogs market data, the Riftbound Market Cap Index fell 3.9% on TCGplayer and 4.0% on eBay sold prices between September 3 and October 2, while the 1,379 Riftbound cards Cardmarket priced on both dates rose 5.1% in combined value. Every main-set booster box got cheaper in the US and more expensive in Europe.

This is the third edition of the monthly Riftbound market watch. It changes how we rank, the same way the One Piece and Fusion World October editions did: a card now ranks only if its TCGplayer price printed on the ranking date and a recent raw eBay sale lands within 30% of it. It also has to explain one night, September 13, when a Cardlogs method change repriced most of the Signature tier.

How did the Riftbound market perform in September 2026?

All three indexes are below last month's edition. As of the October 2, 2026 nightly:

Source Index level 7-day 30-day Since Sep 3 edition Tracked market cap
TCGplayer 139.04 −0.71% −3.87% −3.86% (from 144.62) $147,338 across 1,471 cards
Cardmarket 173.34 −0.77% −2.03% −3.15% (from 178.97) €93,648 across 1,392 cards
eBay sold (via PriceCharting) 162.77 −3.67% −4.36% −3.96% (from 169.49) $53,836 across 914 cards

The Cardlogs Market Cap Index is a chain-linked index (base 100 on May 28, 2026) that measures day-over-day value change of the same cards, so newly listed cards never count as growth. The TCGplayer leg fell on 20 of the 30 nights since the last edition and rose on 9, a slow slide with no night worse than −0.9%.

The Cardmarket number needs a footnote, and it is the main story. Europe's index peaked at 185.75 on September 10 and then dropped on two nights: −3.1% on September 16 and −4.8% on September 24. Almost all of both nights came from one new product. The ten cards of the T1 Signature Edition, Riot's Worlds-champion set that shipped September 2, entered Cardmarket in September and took their first prices there. On September 24, Galio, Indefatigable (Signature) went from €11,500 to €5,756.76 and accounted for more than the whole night's fall; without the T1 cards that night was +0.9%. On September 16, the Ambessa and Xin Zhao Signatures accounted for 99% of it. Measured on the 1,379 cards Cardmarket priced on both September 3 and October 2, Europe's combined value rose 5.1%, from €69,746 to €73,289. According to Cardlogs market data, that +5.1% is the honest European number for the month. The index is right that money was marked down; it was marked down on a product that did not exist a month ago.

The eBay leg is the thinnest of the three, about 147 cards matched night over night, and it moves in jumps: +5.9% on September 17, then a skipped night on our side, then −2.5%. It last closed above 166 on September 29 and ended the month at 162.77.

How did September's calls hold up?

September named four things to watch. All four have an answer, and one of them went against us.

September's call What happened Grade
"A sold-index print above 172 says the buyers caught up; a print below 166 says the Europe rally is asks" The eBay index touched 171.30 on one thin night (September 17), never printed 172, went as low as 161.13 on September 15 and closed at 162.77. The rally was asks in the US sense. Europe, measured on the same cards, kept rising anyway The bearish branch happened
"A new TCGplayer number on any of the three $6,400+ Signature asks" All three repriced on September 13: Ahri - Nine-Tailed Fox $6,498.69 to $3,624.82, Kai'Sa $6,399.99 to $3,101.21, Ahri - Inquisitive $6,899.99 to $3,297.87. That was our method change, not a sale (see below), and it landed where September said the sales were: TCGplayer's weekly sold average then read $3,474 for Nine-Tailed Fox and $3,085 for Kai'Sa Right to exclude them
Vendetta's first eBay-priced card Still none. All 246 Vendetta main-set rows remain unmapped to PriceCharting, so no eBay sale can reach their prices. Our second sold-listings source has logged one ungraded Kennen, Heart of the Tempest (Signature) sale, $2,225 on August 29, which does not feed a price Missed, second month — our gap
Radiance's first TCGplayer preorder price TCGplayer printed one on September 22: $245.97 for the booster display. It reads $238.49 now, against €131.57 on Cardmarket Met

What September's tables look like now. Every one of the ten cards on last month's movers table is lower, median −39.7%, and eight of the ten repriced by 5% or more on September 13. The two that did not, Voidreaver (UNL-236) ($106.37 to $98) and Pridestalker (UNL-227) ($112 to $110), fell 8% and 2%. Last month's #1, Akali, Rogue Assassin (Signature), did not reprice on September 13 and still fell 22%, from $4,150 to $3,229.71, with Cardmarket agreeing at €2,794.94. It drops out of the ranking below for a different reason: as a Vendetta card it has no eBay leg at all.

What changed on September 13?

Cardlogs changed how it reads thin TCGplayer markets. A price built from recent sales now needs at least three sales inside 20 days, with no single sale carrying more than 40% of the weight; cards that miss that bar carry TCGplayer's own market price instead. Riftbound's Signature tier, where a card might sell twice a month at very different prices, is exactly what that rule was written for.

The effect on Riftbound, as of October 2, 2026:

  • 96 of the 344 Riftbound cards with a daily TCGplayer series on both September 3 and October 2 repriced by 5% or more that night, 39 of them above $100, at a median of −27.1%.
  • Our tracked TCGplayer market cap dropped $19,057 (11.2%) that night, from $169,806 to $150,749. The index did not move: its link factor for that night is exactly 1.000, so the chain-linked series sets the night aside. That is what the index design is for.
  • Among the 32 Signature cards with a series on both dates, 17 repriced, at a median of −30.6%. With that night taken out, the Signature tier moved a median −1.2% over the month. Last month we measured it at +10.0% on the same basis.

The rule has a side effect worth knowing about. For several Signatures, TCGplayer's own market price now sits well under both other venues. Miss Fortune - Bounty Hunter (Signature) reads $1,526.25 on TCGplayer while its two newest raw eBay sales were $2,277.15 (September 19) and $2,300 (September 12), and Cardmarket asks €2,380.69. Teemo - Strategist (Signature) reads $747.54 against a $1,350 eBay sale on September 17. Those are the cards the ranking below leaves out, and the reason is that the sale and the reading disagree, in either direction.

What is the most expensive Riftbound card right now?

Ranked on the new rule, as of October 2, 2026 (Cardmarket at the day's ECB rate, $1 = €0.89087):

# Card Set TCGplayer Newest raw eBay sale Ratio Cardmarket PSA 10
1 Ahri - Nine-Tailed Fox (Signature) Origins $3,624.82 $3,150 · Sep 22 0.87 €3,420.30 $8,521.80
2 Kai'Sa - Daughter of the Void (Signature) Origins $3,114.31 $3,150 · Aug 27 1.01 €2,601.56 $8,236.79
3 Baron Nashor (UNL-238) Unleashed $1,828.46 $1,915 · Sep 24 1.05 €2,435.07 $3,455.41
4 Irelia - Fervent (Signature) Spiritforged $1,572.06 $2,000 · Aug 5 1.27 €2,013.97 $3,856.83
5 Scorn of the Moon (UNL-234*) Unleashed $1,529.86 $1,470.62 · Sep 28 0.96 €1,772.97 $3,898.20
6 Teemo, Scout (V.2 - Showcase) Origins promo $1,430.38 $1,400 · Oct 1 0.98 €1,412.56 $4,396.13
7 Jinx - Loose Cannon (Signature) Origins $1,266.68 $1,525 · Sep 14 1.20 €2,015.86 $3,355.19
8 Deceiver (UNL-235*) Unleashed $989.24 $912.33 · Sep 29 0.92 €1,182.09 $1,936
9 Leona - Radiant Dawn (Signature) Origins $910.50 $1,087.43 · Aug 23 1.19 €579.03 $1,919.96
10 Soraka - Wanderer (Signature) Spiritforged $897.53 $1,000 · Sep 21 1.11 €809.23 $2,134.54

Ahri - Nine-Tailed Fox is the cleanest price at the top: six raw eBay sales since August 3 between $2,000 (a listing that disclosed a damaged corner) and $4,200, the newest at $3,150, and Cardmarket within 6%. Kai'Sa's newest raw sale is five weeks old, which is inside the rule's window but worth knowing. The Teemo, Scout "GG EZ" Nexus Night promo at #6 and Baron Nashor at #3 trade most often, with 30 raw eBay sales each in our ledger since August 3, and the Teemo has 1,600 PSA-graded copies, the largest population of any ranked card.

Named, not ranked. Of the 90 most expensive Riftbound cards on TCGplayer as of October 2, 2026, 19 pass the rule. Forty-six are metal promos (Prize Wall and Best Of printings, up to $4,400 for Teemo, Swift Scout (Metal)), which have no Cardmarket or eBay price at all. Fifteen have no raw eBay sale since August 3, nine of them Vendetta cards, including Akali at $3,229.71. Ten have a sale that misses by more than 30%, and seven of those ten sold above our TCGplayer reading: Ahri - Inquisitive (Signature) reads $3,334.49 but sold raw for $6,500 on September 16, after $3,500 on August 16. One sale at nearly twice the reading is a question, not a price.

Is the Riftbound market actually moving, or just the Signature tier?

The median card fell, and the method night makes the fall look bigger than it was. On the same 30-day TCGplayer delta basis we used last month, as of October 2, 2026:

Price band Cards Median 30-day Share up Share unchanged Sept. share up
All ≥ $1 566 −6.00% 27.7% 8.5% 45.4%
≥ $100 150 −2.70% 19.3% 21.3% 58.0%
≥ $500 83 −1.60% 9.6% 38.6% 53.8%
≥ $1,000 60 0.00% 10.0% 50.0% 43.1%

Those deltas include September 13. On each card's own daily series, the 248 cards that did not reprice that night moved a median −3.63% from September 3 to October 2, with 24.2% up. Above $100 the same group moved −1.76%, and above $500 the median is exactly 0.00%. So the US market drifted down a few percent, and the top of it mostly sat still.

By set, with the September 13 night taken out of every card, Vendetta was the weakest at a median −9.9%, then Origins at −6.9%. Spiritforged and Unleashed were close to flat at −2.6% and −2.5%, and the Origins promo bucket did not move. Vendetta is now two months past launch and still finding its level, which shows in its box price below.

Which Riftbound cards moved in September?

Measured on each card's own daily TCGplayer series from September 3 to October 2, 2026, cards above $100, metal promos excluded. A card is listed only if it did not reprice by 5% or more on September 13 and Cardmarket or the eBay sold median sits within 30% of its current price:

Card Set Sep 3 Oct 2 Move Second venue
Ultrasoft Poro (SGN-003) Secret Garden Bundle $30 $125.84 +319.5% CM €102.77
Viktor, Leader (V.2 - Showcase) Origins promo $97.99 $149.99 +53.1% CM €169.25
Veteran Poro (UNL-223) Unleashed $127.01 $180 +41.7% eBay $169.99
Irelia, Fervent Vendetta $139.99 $190 +35.7% CM €126.11
Daring Poro (UNL-225) Unleashed $126.54 $169.99 +34.3% eBay $167
Jinx, Rebel (V.2 - Showcase) Origins promo $215.31 $251.03 +16.6% eBay $240 · CM €261.98
Viktor - Herald of the Arcane (Signature) Origins $1,300 $686.30 −47.2% eBay $692.52 · CM €583.36
Mel, Newly Awakened Vendetta promo $270 $165 −38.9% CM €153.07
Lee Sin - Blind Monk (Signature) Origins $1,899.98 $1,359.58 −28.4% CM €1,162.58
Bard - Mercurial (Signature) Spiritforged $615 $449.62 −26.9% CM €378.52
Jayce, Defender of Tomorrow (Signature) Vendetta $1,299.99 $1,000 −23.1% CM €1,022.39

The gainers are Poros and promos. Five of Unleashed's six Poro cards (UNL-220 to UNL-225) rose: Veteran, Daring and Mystic Poro gained 18% to 42% with eBay sales agreeing, and Pouty Poro rose 56% after a September 13 reprice that keeps it out of the table. The Secret Garden Bundle's Ultrasoft Poro made its whole move before September 12 and Cardmarket now agrees with it. Four of the five fallers are Signatures, and these are real moves rather than the method night: Viktor's Signature halved with eBay and Cardmarket both following it down. For Lee Sin we show only Cardmarket, because the eBay median on that page currently carries sales of the unsigned overnumbered version.

What do Riftbound booster boxes cost right now?

US boxes fell and European boxes rose, on every main set. As of October 2, 2026:

Set Box (TCGplayer) vs Sep 3 Cardmarket vs Sep 3 CM vs US Cardlogs Box EV (TCG) EV as % of box
Origins $250.92 −6.9% €190.13 +5.7% −15% $226.37 90%
Spiritforged $194.34 −8.4% €165.63 +6.9% −4% $119.53 62%
Unleashed $180.74 −8.0% €141.24 +14.9% −12% $160.63 89%

Riftbound booster boxes with current TCGplayer prices and Cardlogs Box EV, October 2026
Riftbound box price vs Cardlogs Box EV — TCGplayer prices, October 2, 2026. Data: Cardlogs.

A month ago every Riftbound box was cheaper in Europe, by 12% to 27%. Now Spiritforged is within 4%, and Vendetta costs 20% more on Cardmarket (€153.70, about $172.53) than on TCGplayer. The euro also weakened against the dollar over the month (€0.861 to €0.891 per $1), which makes European prices look cheaper in dollars, so the gap closed despite the exchange rate, not because of it.

Vendetta's US box is the number to treat with care. The single box fell from $180.57 on September 13 to $162.82 on September 24 and $143.39 now. The six-box case did not follow: $1,039.54 on TCGplayer, which is $173.26 a box, within a dollar of Europe's single box. Two of three readings put Vendetta at about $173; the single US box is the outlier. A sales dip on single boxes is possible, and so is a run of cheaper listings, and our data cannot yet say which.

Cardlogs Box EV is the expected market value of the cards pulled from one sealed booster box, recomputed nightly from live singles prices and pull rates. No main set returns its box price on TCGplayer this month; on Cardmarket only Unleashed does (107%: €151.22 EV on a €141.24 box). Origins' EV fell 16.7%, from $271.71 to $226.37, more than twice as fast as its box, and the cards that drive it, the Signatures, are the ones that repriced on September 13. Vendetta's EV share rose from 68% to 71% only because its box fell faster than its cards. Our Riftbound Box EV breakdown covers how to read the metric.

Collector sealed, the same split. The Worlds Bundle 2025 is $1,088.43 on TCGplayer (−1.4% since September 3) and €645.74 on Cardmarket (+13.8%). The Arcane Box Set is $529.52 (−0.3%) and €500.69 (+13.3%). Last month both had just fallen hard in Europe; this month Europe recovered part of that while the US price barely moved.

What is the T1 Signature Edition worth?

On Cardmarket, a lot, and less every week. The box set itself reads €4,792.65 as of October 2, 2026, close to its first print of €4,675 on September 4. Its ten cards all have Cardmarket prices now (none did on September 3), and none has a TCGplayer or eBay price. The five signed cards read: Galio, Indefatigable €5,756.76 (after €11,500 on September 23), Seraphine, Not Alone €5,000, Miss Fortune, Buccaneer €3,550, Ambessa, The Wolf €2,313.33 (after €4,000) and Xin Zhao, Vigilant €2,227.71 (after €3,000). Seraphine's €5,000 is the same on all 23 nightly prints since September 10, and Miss Fortune's €3,550 on all 18 since September 15, which is what an untested ask looks like.

The unsigned base cards fell faster. Miss Fortune, Buccaneer went from €1,125 on September 10 to €244.68, and Xin Zhao, Vigilant from €633 on September 15 to €117.51. These are one marketplace's first weeks on a product sold through a drawing, so we name them and do not rank them. Our T1 drawing coverage has the allocation background.

When does Radiance release, and what is it priced at?

October 23, 2026, per Riot's product roadmap, with Pre-Rift events October 16–22. TCGplayer opened its pre-order on September 22 at $245.97 for the booster display, and it reads $238.49 as of October 2, 2026. Cardmarket's pre-order is €131.57, about $148, so the US pays 1.61 times the European price for the same sealed display. Cardmarket's Radiance case slid from €835.42 on September 3 to €798.36. The card list, the reveals so far and the case-per-box comparison are in the Radiance card list and price guide, which updates weekly to release.

What should collectors watch before the November edition?

Four things, each an event our nightly data will show.

First, whether Europe follows the US down. The same Riftbound cards rose 5.1% on Cardmarket while TCGplayer fell 3.9%. A month of Cardmarket declines on cards that existed in September, or a US rebound, closes that gap; until one happens the two markets disagree.

Second, a second raw sale on Ahri - Inquisitive (Signature). One sale at $6,500 sits against a $3,334.49 reading. A second sale near either number decides which one is the price.

Third, Vendetta's single box against its case. $143.39 a box versus $173.26 a box inside a case. When the two meet, note which one moved.

Fourth, Radiance's first single-card prices. The set releases October 23, and its first TCGplayer card prices enter our feed the night they appear. We will also report whether Vendetta has an eBay leg by then; it is our gap, and it has now missed two editions.

For the same monthly read on other games, see the One Piece Market Watch and the Fusion World Market Watch. Last month's edition is archived as the September Riftbound Market Watch.

Where this data comes from

Cardlogs aggregates prices nightly from TCGplayer, Cardmarket and eBay sold listings (via PriceCharting): 1,471 Riftbound cards priced on TCGplayer, 1,392 on Cardmarket and 914 on the eBay side as of October 2, 2026, plus PSA and BGS population data. Market-level moves use the Cardlogs Market Cap Index, a chain-linked index comparing only same-card pairs day over day. The European same-card figure (+5.1%) sums the Cardmarket prices of the 1,379 cards priced on both September 3 and October 2. The ranked table uses a two-part rule: the card's TCGplayer price must have printed in our daily log on October 2, 2026, and its newest raw eBay sale since August 3 (a sold listing whose title names no grading company) must land within 30% of that price. Cardmarket is converted at the day's ECB rate of €0.89087 per $1 and shown, but does not rank a card on its own; metal promos are named but never ranked. Movers are measured on each card's own daily TCGplayer series between September 3 and October 2, with cards that repriced by 5% or more on the September 13 method change set aside. Breadth figures cover the 566 Riftbound cards priced above $1 with a 30-day TCGplayer delta. Radiance dates are from Riot's official product roadmap. All figures are as of the October 2, 2026 nightly; the live pages update every night.

That closes the October edition. The figure to carry into November is the gap between continents: −3.9% on TCGplayer, +5.1% on Cardmarket, on the same cards over the same month. Every card, box and index in this article is tracked live on Cardlogs, on web, iOS and Android, including the full most-expensive Riftbound ranking, the Box EV breakdown and the graded population report.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Riftbound card market up or down in October 2026?

Down in the US, up in Europe. According to Cardlogs market data, the Riftbound Market Cap Index fell 3.9% on TCGplayer and 4.0% on eBay sold prices between September 3 and October 2, 2026, falling on 20 of 30 nights on TCGplayer. On Cardmarket, the 1,379 cards priced on both dates rose 5.1% in combined value. The Cardmarket index itself reads −3.1%, and that gap is one new product, the T1 Signature Edition, finding its first prices.

What is the most expensive Riftbound card right now?

Among cards with a live TCGplayer price and a raw eBay sale within 30% of it since August 3, the most expensive is Ahri - Nine-Tailed Fox (Signature) from Origins at $3,624.82 as of October 2, 2026, backed by a $3,150 eBay sale on September 22 and a Cardmarket price of €3,420.30. Kai'Sa - Daughter of the Void (Signature) is second at $3,114.31. Metal promos ask more but have no second marketplace price.

Why did Riftbound Signature card prices drop in September 2026?

Mostly because Cardlogs changed how it reads thin TCGplayer markets on September 13, 2026. Of the 32 Signature cards with a daily TCGplayer series on September 3 and October 2, 17 repriced by 5% or more that night, a median of −30.6%. Take that night out and the Signature tier moved a median −1.2% over the month.

Is a Riftbound booster box worth opening in October 2026?

None of the four main sets returns its box price on TCGplayer as of October 2, 2026. Cardlogs Box EV is 90% of the box price for Origins ($226.37 on a $250.92 box), 89% for Unleashed, 71% for Vendetta and 62% for Spiritforged. Every US box fell 7% to 18% over the month, while all four rose 6% to 16% on Cardmarket.

How much is a Riftbound Radiance booster box?

$238.49 on TCGplayer and €131.57 (about $148) on Cardmarket as of October 2, 2026, both pre-order prices. TCGplayer first printed a Radiance box price on September 22 at $245.97. Radiance releases October 23, 2026.
