How is the Dragon Ball card market performing in July 2026?

The Dragon Ball market is up on both major retail marketplaces and roughly flat on realized sales. According to Cardlogs market data, the Dragon Ball market index rose 12.8% on TCGplayer and 8.8% on Cardmarket in the 30 days to July 27, 2026, while the eBay sold-listing index gained just 1.1%.

The Cardlogs Market Cap Index is a chain-linked index (base 100 on May 28, 2026) that measures the day-over-day value change of the same cards, so newly listed cards can never inflate the trend. Note the index covers the whole Dragon Ball card game — both the classic Masters sets and Fusion World together.

The spread between the three sources is the honest story here, and it has widened since the start of the month. Retail ask-side prices (TCGplayer, Cardmarket) have been climbing hard, while realized eBay sales are essentially flat over 30 days. When listings run ahead of sold prices, some of the rally is sellers repricing rather than buyers paying up — worth remembering before chasing a spike.

That gap is not an abstraction. It is exactly what took down the card that opened this section a week ago, below.

Which Fusion World cards are moving right now?

The biggest corroborated Fusion World mover of the past month is the gold Energy Marker E-75 from Manga Booster 02, up 308% on TCGplayer to $900 as of July 28, 2026 — with Cardmarket at €769 and eBay sales at $700 backing it up. Championship promos and the early Super Alternate Arts from FB01 are the other hot corners.

We only rank a mover when a second marketplace agrees. A card qualifies when Cardmarket (converted at the day's ECB rate) or the eBay sold median sits within 30% of the TCGplayer price; single-venue spikes are listed separately below.

All prices as of July 28, 2026. On the Cardmarket side, the biggest 30-day move belongs to Gogeta: GT FB09-123 at +177%, followed by the Championship Son Goku FB04-129 at +43% and the FB06-097 Gogeta at +39%.

Excluded as single-venue moves: the gold Energy Marker E-48 shows +834% to $2,400 on TCGplayer while Cardmarket has it at €410 and eBay sales at $1,500 — the largest percentage on our board and the least supported. E-57 (+118%) and E-53 (+96%) fail the same check.

What happened to the E-44 Energy Marker?

Its TCGplayer price fell 64% in four days, from $2,499.99 on July 24, 2026 to $894.99 on July 28, 2026, while Cardmarket (€361) and eBay sales ($775) did not move at all. Nothing happened to the card. The ask simply converged to where the sales already were.

The first edition of this market watch led with E-44 as the biggest mover of the month at +644%, alongside a caveat that its Cardmarket price was only €361 and its eBay print $775 — "a very thin, wide-spread market." That caveat turned out to be the whole story, so we have replaced the caveat with a rule.

According to Cardlogs market data, a Fusion World card now enters our headline tables only when a second marketplace corroborates its TCGplayer price within 30%. E-44 fails that test at $2,499.99 and passes it at $894.99 — the same card, the same day's data, on the right side of the line only once the ask met the market. The same rule removed two cards from our most expensive Fusion World ranking.

What do Fusion World booster boxes cost right now?

Manga Booster 01 is the most expensive Fusion World sealed product at $1,668.68 per box, followed by Manga Booster 02 at $906.74 and Dual Evolution (FB09) at $495.62, as of July 28, 2026. Standard boosters from FB01–FB10 sit between $136 and $358.

Cardlogs Box EV is the expected market value of the cards pulled from one sealed booster box, recomputed nightly from live singles prices and pull rates. Here is the full Fusion World sealed picture:

Why are those Box EV numbers so much higher than the box price?

Because the EV is a mean, and Fusion World box means are dominated by a handful of serialized and manga-style chase cards with very long odds. According to Cardlogs market data, a Dual Evolution booster box costs $495.62 while its Cardlogs Box EV stands at $9,022 in TCGplayer prices as of July 28, 2026 — an 18.2x ratio that no typical box will actually return.

The skew is structural. Dual Evolution's EV carries the SCR Super Alternate Art Gogetas ($1,500–$2,103 each) and other top-slot pulls whose per-box hit probability is tiny. Manga Booster 01's EV carries the gold Energy Marker inserts, which is also why that set's EV is the most sensitive to the corroboration problem above: when one marker's ask collapses 64% in four days, the mean moves with it.

The honest framing: a high Box EV on these sets means "lottery with expensive tickets and a few enormous prizes," not "free money." For standard boosters like FB02 or FB05, where EV runs 4–5x a much cheaper box, the same caveat applies at smaller scale — variance is the product. What should collectors watch before FB11 Brightness of Hope?

FB11 Brightness of Hope releases September 18, 2026, and preorders are already live. It is the next mainline set after FB10 Cross Force (June 12, 2026, 123 cards), and set-release windows have historically been the highest-turnover periods for Fusion World singles.

Three things worth watching between now and September 18:

1. FB09 and FB10 chase prices. The Dual Evolution SCRs are the current "rookie grails" — Gogeta: GT FB09-123 is up 177% in 30 days on Cardmarket. Cross Force has already placed both of its SCRs in the Fusion World top six: Son Gohan: Childhood FB10-122 at $2,200 and Cell FB10-123 at $1,800, both corroborated on all three venues.
2. Older sealed. FB01 Awakened Pulse boxes at $358.43 are already more than 2.6x the cheapest current-wave boxes; each new set tends to renew attention on the first set's supply.
3. Championship promo season. The 2025–26 Finals Goku at $2,975 and the FB06-097 Gogeta at $1,500 (+143% in a month) show what tournament exclusives do once the event window closes.

Does Cardlogs track Japanese Fusion World prices?

Yes — and almost nobody else covering the English market does. Cardlogs ingests Japanese Dragon Ball singles pricing nightly from Cardrush, one of Japan's largest TCG retailers, with native JPY prices and Japanese card scans alongside our TCGplayer, Cardmarket and eBay feeds.

Japanese Dragon Ball singles barely exist on Western marketplaces: they have no TCGplayer twin listing and near-zero Cardmarket liquidity, so most English-language trackers simply show nothing.
