Riftbound market data for August 2026: Cardlogs index +54.2% on eBay sold prices, +46.4% Cardmarket, +25.1% TCGplayer in 30 days. Movers, box EV, Vendetta launch.

Riftbound — the League of Legends TCG by Riot Games — is the fastest-moving card market Cardlogs tracks, and the buyers are ahead of the sellers. According to Cardlogs market data, the Cardlogs Market Cap Index for Riftbound rose 54.2% on eBay sold prices, 46.4% on Cardmarket and 25.1% on TCGplayer in the 30 days to August 2, 2026. Realized sales are outrunning listing prices — the exact opposite of what our Fusion World edition found in Dragon Ball this month.

This is the first edition of the monthly Riftbound market watch, built like our One Piece and Fusion World series: every number comes from our nightly multi-marketplace feeds, and every ranked card passes the cross-venue corroboration screen.

How is the Riftbound market performing in August 2026?

Every source is up, and the sold side is up the most. As of August 2, 2026:

The Cardlogs Market Cap Index is a chain-linked index (base 100 on May 28, 2026) that measures day-over-day value change of the same cards, so newly listed cards can never inflate the trend.

Two things stand out. First, the scale: no other TCG we track posted a 30-day leg above +16.2% this month; Riftbound's slowest leg beats every other game's fastest. Second, the order: in Dragon Ball, listing prices are sprinting while sold prices went negative — sellers repricing ahead of buyers. In Riftbound the eBay sold index (+54.2%) is running ahead of the TCGplayer ask index (+25.1%), which means buyers are paying up faster than sellers are relisting. One honest caveat: the eBay leg covers 941 cards against TCGplayer's 1,276, and none of the week-old Vendetta set has eBay sales data yet — the sold-side read is carried by Origins, Spiritforged and Unleashed.

Which Riftbound cards are moving right now?

Almost nothing on the board is red. Among the ~200 Riftbound cards priced above $50, the biggest 30-day decline is −10% — everything else is flat or up, and the top of the movers board is up triple digits. A card ranks below only when Cardmarket (converted at the day's ECB rate, $1 = €0.87) or the eBay sold median lands within 30% of its TCGplayer price:

All prices as of August 3, 2026. The pattern inside the table: Origins promo-slot printings — the showcase and rare promo versions of champions, not the main-set cards — take four of the top six slots. The promo supply is thinner than main-set supply, and the market found it this month.

Excluded as single-venue moves: Warwick, Hunter posts the biggest number on the whole board — +509% to $119.99 — while Cardmarket prices it at €56.76 (0.47x) and its last eBay sales print $17 (0.14x). That is the exact profile Dragon Ball's E-48 Energy Marker carries this month, and we treat it the same way: not ranked. Also out: Yone - Blademaster (Signature) (+125% to $777.77, both venues 36–51% below), Yasuo - Windrider (Signature) (+124% to $835, 0.64x/0.57x) and Teemo, Strategist (V.1 - Showcase) (+207% to $197.50, 0.58x/0.65x).

What is the most expensive Riftbound card right now?

The highest ask and the highest corroborated price are two different cards — and the gap between them widened this month.

Ahri - Inquisitive (Signature) tops TCGplayer at $6,600, up 148% in a month. But Cardmarket prices it at €2,758.64 (0.48x) and the last eBay sales print $3,000 (0.45x). When we ranked the most expensive Riftbound cards on July 29, the same card asked $4,899.99 with both venues at ~0.6x; the ask has since risen 35% while both venues fell further behind it. Same card, same rule, wider gap — it stays excluded.

The most expensive corroborated Riftbound card is Ahri - Nine-Tailed Fox (Signature) at $3,800, and its eBay sold median now sits at $4,100 — sales printing above the ask, up from parity five weeks ago. Behind it: Kai'Sa - Daughter of the Void (Signature) at $3,197.49 (eBay at parity, Cardmarket 0.84x) and Unleashed's Baron Nashor at $2,999 (eBay $2,500). Eighteen of the twenty most expensive Riftbound cards pass the screen — for a market this young, that is remarkably broad two-venue agreement. What do Riftbound booster boxes cost right now?

Sealed is rallying alongside the singles. As of August 3, 2026:

Cardlogs Box EV is the expected market value of the cards pulled from one sealed booster box, recomputed nightly from live singles prices and pull rates. Unleashed is the outlier worth naming: it is the only Riftbound box whose EV exceeds its price, at 134% of cost — and the Cardmarket leg agrees at 172% (€173.09 EV against a €100.76 box). That EV is carried almost entirely by two corroborated chase cards, Baron Nashor at $2,999 and Scorn of the Moon at $1,999.99 — pull neither and a box returns a fraction of its cost. The collector-sealed corner moved harder than any booster box: the Worlds Bundle 2025 is up 126% in a month to $1,182.86 (Cardmarket corroborates at €805.56, 0.78x) and the Arcane Box Set is up 126% to $600.47 with Cardmarket at €543.94 — 1.04x, near-perfect cross-venue agreement. Both are fixed-content products from October 2025 that Riot has not reprinted.

One regional note: the EU discount on Riftbound sealed is real but shrinking with set age. A Spiritforged box costs €106.69 on Cardmarket — about $122 at the day's ECB rate, 36% below the US price — while Vendetta launched at near-exact parity (€124.76 ≈ $143 vs $141.24). What did Vendetta's launch week look like?

Vendetta released July 31, 2026, and its first week is a case study in why we screen prices. All 210 Vendetta cards are in our nightly feeds (209 priced on TCGplayer, 201 on Cardmarket); none has eBay sales data yet, so corroboration runs on Cardmarket alone for now.

The pre-launch hype ask collapsed on contact with supply. Swain, Visionary listed at $1,999 on TCGplayer before release — we declined to rank it then, because no second venue carried any price. One week after launch it trades at $94.50, and Cardmarket now agrees at €72.50 (0.88x). The corroborated top of the set as of August 3: Irelia, Fervent at $169.95, Jinx, Demolitionist at $135.44, Gangplank, Naval at $119.99 and Rengar, Trophy Hunter at $124. The two biggest asks in the set — Lux, Crownguard at $348.97 and Zed, From the Shadows at $253.64 — sit at 0.10x and 0.36x their Cardmarket prices and do not rank yet. Week-one asks on a new set are opening bids, not prices.

The same correction played out at set level. In Vendetta's launch week, a partial card list briefly produced a Box EV reading of over 300% of box cost in our own pipeline — the classic partial-ingest artifact, where only chase cards have prices yet. We flagged it internally and published nothing. With all 210 cards priced, Vendetta's real Box EV is $108.30 on a $141.24 box — 77%, right in line with Origins and Spiritforged, and the Cardmarket leg agrees at 90%. According to Cardlogs market data, a fresh set's EV normalizing to ~75–90% of box cost within a week of full ingestion is exactly what healthy launch pricing looks like.

What should collectors watch before Radiance?

Radiance, the next Riftbound expansion, is scheduled for October 23, 2026 per Riot's release calendar; as of August 3, 2026 it has no tracked listings, and it will enter our nightly data the moment the first ones open. Between now and then, three things worth watching:

1. Whether sales keep leading asks. The +54.2% sold-side move against a +25.1% ask-side move is the healthiest possible shape for a rally — but it is built on Origins, Spiritforged and Unleashed sales. If the sold index stalls while asks keep climbing, Riftbound starts looking like Dragon Ball's split market.
2. Unleashed's EV window. A box whose expected pull value exceeds its price rarely stays that way: either the box price rises (it is already +22% this month) or the chase singles cool. Whichever side moves closes the 134%.
3. Vendetta's first eBay sales. The set's corroboration currently runs on Cardmarket alone. When PriceCharting's eBay coverage picks up Vendetta, the launch-week prices get their third-venue test — and the September edition of this watch will report it.

Where this data comes from

Cardlogs aggregates prices nightly from TCGplayer, Cardmarket and eBay sold listings (via PriceCharting) — 1,276 Riftbound cards priced on TCGplayer, 1,291 on Cardmarket and 941 on the eBay side as of August 2, 2026 — plus PSA and BGS population data. Market-level moves use the Cardlogs Market Cap Index, a chain-linked index comparing only same-card pairs day over day, so per-source coverage differs and new cards never count as growth. Ranked cards pass the cross-venue corroboration screen: a second marketplace (Cardmarket at the day's ECB rate of €0.87 per $1, or the eBay sold median) must print within 30% of the TCGplayer price, and failing cards are shown with their gaps. Index figures are as of August 2, 2026 and card figures as of August 3, 2026; the live pages update every night.
